BORN into a Southern family – my mother’s family was from the low country of South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia, and my father was from North Carolina, as am I.
STUDIED at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I majored in Communications Public Policy, History and Political Science.
WORKED for Conde Nast Publications (VOGUE, GLAMOUR, HOUSE & GARDEN, MADEMOISELLE), Granada Television International, Christie’s Auction House, MIRAMAX FILMS, Avenue Pictures, The Bancroft Library at UC BERKELEY, and Aimmune Therapeutics.
LIVED in North Carolina, Connecticut, New York City, London, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
TRAVELLED throughout forteen countries in Western Europe, Greece, North and Central America.
RAISED 25-year old son, Jack, 21-year old daughter, Ella, and dog, Lily.
LOVE being with my kids, the pace of the countryside, long drives, hikes with friends, dinner parties, dogs, music, and film.
DABBLE in singing, poetry, cooking, and bird watching.
